732 The Electric Duo
Our performances are focused on mellow rock music that fits the amazing vocal range and styling flexibility of Mary Spayd, as well as being Piano and/or Bass Guitar driven. Our covers of the Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon, Joni Mitchell's Help Me, Jackson Browne's Somebody's Baby, Carole King's Sweet Seasons, America's Tin Man, Elton John's I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues, Natalie Merchant's Wonder are just some of the many gold-based mellow rock music our show features. Our ability to authentically cover a wide range of popular soft rock artists, from primarily 1970's through the 1990's, gives us the ability to effectively create an ever-changing set list!
Instead of acoustic style, to provide our audience superior entertainment value, we use customized high quality instrument accompaniment tracks that provide the other instrument parts that go with the instruments being performed live. All the instruments on the accompaniment tracks are performed by Glenn. The instrument tracks accompany the live performance of Mary on vocals/piano/keyboards/synth, flute, harmonica, with Glenn on vocals/bass guitar and keyboards/synth. We own and provide a High-Quality live sound system, capable of indoor or outdoor locations from small to medium sized crowds. The Duo show is geared for easy travel at no extra cost. Our performances consistently prove to be an amazing value, providing a full band sound and performance, for the price range expected of a small group. Local, Regional, Dinner shows, family-oriented events, wineries, casinos, corporate and private events are all typical venues you will find The 732 Electric Duo performing.
